Bonnet mushrooms at 3am after rain — focus stack, 47 frames

Crawled out into the woods at 3am because the rain finally stopped and I knew the Mycena would be glistening. 47 frames stacked, 100mm macro, tiny LED diffused through a yogurt lid.

The translucent caps catch the light like little lanterns. Worth every muddy knee.

This belongs in a museum. The backlight through the caps is stunning.
