Morel season is creeping north — where is the line right now?

Soil temps are hitting that magic 50F band. Reports coming in from the lower Midwest already. No spot-doxxing please, but roughly what latitude are folks finding them at this week?

Reminder: learn to tell true morels from the false ones. When in doubt, cut them lengthwise — true morels are hollow all the way through.

First season ever. Found exactly zero morels and one very confused toad. Still counting it as a win.
