Community Rules
Welcome to Cordyceps Fungi. We want this to be a useful, welcoming place for mushroom enthusiasts, cultivators, foragers, photographers, and mycologists.
1. Be respectful
Treat other members with respect. Personal attacks, harassment, threats, discrimination, and deliberate intimidation are not welcome here.
2. Keep discussions on topic
Post topics in the board that best fits the discussion. Keep replies relevant and avoid unnecessary spam or repeated posts.
3. Mushroom identification requires caution
Never rely on an online identification to determine whether a mushroom is safe to eat. Photographs can be useful for discussion, but identification from photos alone is not a guarantee of edibility.
Never eat a mushroom identified only from the internet.
4. Share accurate information
When sharing scientific, cultivation, foraging, or identification information, make a reasonable effort to be accurate. Clearly distinguish personal experience from established information.
5. No spam or scams
Do not use the community for spam, fraudulent schemes, deceptive promotions, or unsolicited advertising.
6. Respect privacy
Do not post another person's private information without their permission. Use private messaging responsibly and respect other members' boundaries.
7. Moderation
Moderators may remove content or restrict accounts when necessary to keep the community safe, useful, and welcoming. Please follow moderator instructions.
8. Use common sense
If something is unsafe, abusive, deceptive, or clearly inappropriate for the community, don't post it.
